Stories in the BEA Story Contest were judged by four judges: Al, Adama, Leviathan, and myself (Mark T). Each judge scored each story on a 25-point scale. The scores were then added to produce a story's final score. The full listing of all the stories entered in the contest and their point totals is below.
As you can see, the stories fell into a more-or-less typical bell curve, with a lot of stories ending up getting graded with virtually identical scores in the 55-65 range. More detailed analysis of each story's scores (for instance, the separate judge scores, as well as comments and such) will be found on separate pages I'll be writing next weekend, and will be linked onto this page. For now, I thought it most important that I get the final scores up.
And now, without further ado, here are the results of the 2000 BEA Story Contest!
