Al, Some Sort of Dog, is also the Editor of R&D. He is as old as he feels and as young as the woman he desires at the moment; is fond of dogs and children while on the whole preferring dogs; feels no guilt whatsoever about being English and has strong views on politics, phony politicians, teaching standards and the broadcast media.
He was writing this kind of stuff before the Net existed and has produced a large number of long stories in a relatively short space of time. He writes fast and revises everything many, many times.
Works include the Golden Goose stories, Hooters UK, collaboration on Sex Slaves of East Longshott Down, the Axolotl short stories and the St Cat's series. Favourite stories: St Cat's System (in collaboration with Corinne Meadowlark herself) and St Cat's Puffies (in collaboration with Angelique Grimm).
Al was elected to the BE Hall of Fame in the 1998 BEAmer Awards.
