joe average burst on the be authoring scene like gangbusters in 1999. he authored his first story (think big) on his webtv console, but since the webtv box doesn't include any real storage he emailed each night's chapter to the bea. when it was done, we pieced it together and posted it - and joe became an instant sensation.
