The first BE story I ever read was Dr. Hooters, the old classic. Breasts had always fascinated me (God knows I was no stranger to porn), and then I saw someone post a synopsis of Road Dog's serial on alt.sex.breast (back before it was a spam-cake). The part hinting about the effects of milk on Amanda and her sister fascinated me, and I just had to read it, despite the stupid name. ;)

I loved it. Some scenes inspired me so much that I rewrote them for my own amusement. I still do that today sometimes. I'll be reading something, and it will be plodding, or otherwise disappointing me. Ok, I'll think, this is not going the way I want. Let's get it ON! (Sorry but I don't have any of these edits, as I invariably lose them soon after writing. Even if I did, it would be inconsiderate of me to release them.)

When Anthony Cotto's site came around, I read everything on it as fast as I could, and REALLY enjoyed some of those wonderful stories. College girls and mysterious figurines, couples trying to put romance back in their marriage, revenge...

I don't remember why I decided to write "Slumber Party," my first story. The BE genre needed a slumber party story, I reasoned. I had written many other "straight" pieces of fiction, even been published locally, and after editing chapters of Dr. Hooters for my own enjoyment, it just seemed natural to give it a go. That was in December of 1996, if I recall. I uploaded it to Anthony's site. Then when the site went down, I kinda disappeared for a few years. My life so far had been a series of ups and downs, and I had other worries.

I still checked out the "scene" when possible. Several sites for BE fans came and went: Macman, which I don't remember a thing about. I checked it out occasionally, I'm sure, but when I try to remember there's nothing. A web-based alt.alt.sex.breast appeared, and I would try to find stories on there. The layout didn't impress me at all, though, and I found it difficult to find new stories.

It wasn't until the BEArchive appeared that I started writing and reading BE fiction regularly again. I hope the archive stays around for a long time! Anything that keeps me away from the drink and bowling can't be all bad! ;)
