Oh yeah, this was just like any typical Tuesday for us. Both Dick and I had extremely long days at work. He is a construction foreman here in Manhattan and since the attack he has been really overworked. As for me, let's just say that I work on Wall Street and leave it at that for the moment and since the 11th we have been putting in equally long days, often collapsing as soon as we get in the door. Needless to say, we were really looking forward to getting to Flashdancers and having a damn drink. If you're going to spring for eight dollars a pop for a beer it had better be ice cold and "Flash" always delivers.

We arrived a little late for the 6:30 show (I got tied up in the office) and we had noticed that there were a lot of things out of place. Both Flashdancers and its sister club NY Dolls are owned by the same people and since NY Dolls is so close to ground zero, it had been closed since the 11th. As a result we saw a lot of "NY Dolls girls" working at "Flash", which was kind of weird, although it was great to see some of our friends that we'd not seen in a while. The crowd was smaller than usual, even for a Tuesday and although we arrived late, we were still able to get our regular seats at the stage (yes we have regular seats and we HATE when someone has the nerve to be sitting in them when we get there). We were in our seats, beer in hand, music playing, and friends saying "hi". We had really missed this.

Thankfully, Echo's show had just begun, so we really didn't miss much, although there is definitely something to be said for the Flashdancers entrance music, which includes "LLLLLets get ready to Ruuuumbllllle!". We love the whole costume thing. Some Features have really well thought out, nice costumes, and…well lets just say that some don't. Echo had on a Genie costume and although we had all seen this before, she looked great. There was nothing cheap about her outfit at all and Dick soon commented that if he were Major Nelson, that's what Barbara Eden would have looked like. The song "Genie in a Bottle" was her opening number and now we cant help but think of Echo when we hear it. There is one Feature (who shall remain nameless) that always seems to have on the same lame policewoman's outfit on…uuugh. Can anybody say K-Mart? We both gave Echo's costume an eight.

Echo spotted us at our seats and immediately came over with a big smile. She seemed genuinely glad to see a woman at her show and you have no idea how comforting that is for me. Believe it or not, that is not always the case, which I could never understand. She charmed us from the start. Soon after she charmed everyone else, she had a great way of making everyone at the stage feel good. She gave everyone there the impression that they were appreciate and that is a rare gift. She was soon about to share another "rare gift". As her top came off, the energy level went up tremendously. It is uncommon for boobs as large as Echo's to look as great as they do, in fact, her whole body looked great. Dick and I aren't 21 anymore (enough said about that) and Echo seemed about the same age as us, but a lot of 21 year olds I am sure are jealous of her figure. For a small crowd (as a result of the current situation in NYC I am sure), that was once timid at first, she left the stage to a nice amount of applause.

After the show comes my favorite part of the evening and that is when the Feature comes down from the stage to sit in the big, comfy chair at what Flashdancers calls the "Star Wall" to snap Polaroid's with their fans. I usually wait for everyone else to take their turn so we can get in some girl talk. There was one guy there that was trying his damnedest to look like Rikishi from the WWF. He was growling a lot…. yes, growling, it was a first for me and I am sure for Echo as well. Just my luck, why couldn't I get a Rock look-a-like? I was helping Echo by taking a couple of pictures, and soon it was my turn. She asked us if we'd both like to be in the photo and I explained that Dick takes the pics and that I have a collection of these. She thought that was pretty funny. We sat and talked for a while, Dick would join the conversation, and then retreat back to the seats (just a few steps away) to keep an eye on our bags. We really hit it off well, she is so damn likable, we were able to talk about anything and we almost did. She was telling us that she was doing bondage videos and then (jokingly?) asked Dick if he'd like to be in her next video. I thought about all those construction guys turning on their VCR's and seeing their foreman getting beaten up by Echo. We laughed a lot. We were most happy to hear her talk about herself and her future. This is a woman with an awful lot of brains. I have met so many people (both in this business and out) who live day to day, and being in the financial industry, that makes me sad. Echo has her act together, plain and simple. As Dick said, "She's so terrific she makes you forget that she has boobs", and as you can imagine, that is really hard to do.

We decided a long time ago that we will only go see someone because they have big boobs once, after that it's how much we liked them as people. We would invite Echo Valley into our home any day and we are definitely going to see her again.
