seems that a certain comic book author/illustrator's work keeps popping up on the Breast Expansion Archive of late. Despite the involvement of males with big tools and graphic hard core sex, which some have voiced as not being within the main interest of the site, this author's work has also attracted a sizable following from an approving if less vocal crowd at the BEA. His busty heroines and their hot, lengthy encounters with equally well-endowed male partners have always whipped up a fair amount of interest when posted in the BEA User Gallery.

Taylor's storytelling and illustration are no- holds- barred, graphic romps that get to the action quickly. His flair for imaginative angles that get to the places that "the sun don't shine" really makes for interesting visuals. Taylor and his publishers censor nothing. In fact, he celebrates the ability that the illustrative arts give him, to depict characters, angles and action that would be nearly impossible or very expensive to create in live action. Whether it be his horse-hung men, or a "Girl's" fantasies of getting it on with zodiac characters like "Leo", "Aries" or "Taurus", or even Lois getting it on with a couple superheroes, the art is powerful. For his female characters are drawn with luscious proportions, and the men's dicks in all their huge, veiny glory, as they split the lips (oral or otherwise) of their young female conquests.

Girl, Jill, Marty et al, the creatures of Taylor's fertile imagination, all love sex and seem to have a predilection for exceptionally well-endowed male partners. These visions of female pulchritude have no problem finding willing and equipped partners who take them to their limit and give them the max every time.

Until recently it has been difficult to find the work of Kevin J. Taylor other than through happenstance occurrences on various web-sites and newsgroups. Finding his work in stores has been an exercise in perseverance, as these limited-run gems apparently have all been snapped up by loyal collectors. Yet until recently they hadn't been in scopes of the major erotica publishers and distributors. Indeed, though questions of copyright arise, this collector's and probably many other collectors' interest would not have been piqued had examples of Taylor's work not found widespread distribution through the mass distribution network, that is the internet today. You could call it "Mass word of mouth".

So what I have here is not so much a review as a few paragraphs of comments and information ...a consumer's guide, for people interested in seeing or collecting more of his work. In the past he has published the Girl, Bodyheat, Co-ed Diaries and Girl's Kamasutra series as comics with small print-runs. Fortunately, however, it appears that the substantial following he has developed has attracted a publisher who's reissued two of these series in trade paperbacks, compiling those comics into books devoted to each series respectively, and making them widely available to a mass audience.

This publisher, Nantier, Beall, Minoustchine Publishing of New York, offers in their Eurotica section a nice selection of Taylor's work, both previously seen as well as unseen. In the past few months they have published the trade paperbacks Girl and Bodyheat from the comic book series by those names, as well as new work by Taylor in issue number 3 of their erotica magazine, Sizzle.

Taylor fans also have something to look forward to this new year, as NBM plans to publish as yet unseen work by Taylor, some new, some simply not published before. The book FOREPLAY-The Art of Kevin J. Taylor will be out in January, containing, according to a release, "...all of Taylor's full color paintings, for covers, for fun and never before seen, for aborted projects, all in one beautiful art book. Including paintings of Girl, Jill and many other famous characters of his with notes by him providing background and insight into his deceptively unassuming great artwork. A great number of pieces never before seen, and those that have are presented in their full glory like never before!" And in February, SIZZLE #5 will feature a new story about Jill, one of his characters from Co-ed Diaries.

For those interested in color, the Spanish erotica magazine "Kiss", published by Ediciones La Cupula occasionally features his work. However, his work is as often published there in black and white as in color. Sometimes you just can't tell until you open the issue. In my humble opinion color has always added another dimension to any kind of illustration. The coloring of the images in Kiss will make Taylor's images practically pop off the page. Taylor's colorized stories in Kiss are definitely worth the extra trouble it is to find them. For those of us actually interested in what the characters are saying, well, you'll need to know Spanish. Your best bet to find Kiss is to go to comic book stores that have large collections of erotic/adult comics or ask your local comic book store to place a special order through Diamond Distribution, the largest US comic book distributor. Kiss issues #s 80, 81, 82, 85 & 86, feature his work. Issue 81 definitely features Taylor's work in color.

So if you like well-endowed women and men, spending all too much time together employing their gifts for maximum pleasure, take a look at the work of Kevin J. Taylor. You're sure to be pleasurably surprised.

People may wonder if I have a hidden agenda here, so brazenly pushing his work. But this article is more a response from someone who is constantly frustrated by the stream of high-quality erotic work that comes across the web with very little identifying information. There are some of us out there who would like to be able to purchase this work both in support of the authors as well as a desire to possess the original thing. Images without attribution to the author makes it harder to find the source. I'm not so much criticizing as making a request. If it is possible to attach some identifying information to an image, I would heartily encourage it. After all, it's not too much more work to put that info into the filename or comments whilst uploading the picture.
