The story consists of a main thread comprising 76 episodes and five short side threads of 2, 2, 1, 1, and 4 episodes, respectively, all of which merge back into the main thread. Chronologically "The Backstage Bar & Grill Magical Mystery Tour" follows "Monster's Ball," of which it is an offshoot. It also refers to events in most if not all previously written threads and episodes dealing with the Bar & Grill as being part of its past, including, most particularly, "The Backstage Bar & Grill - Opening Day," "Author Girls," and "Marco Polo." "Mystery of the Vamps" and "Backstage Origins," which branch of of this thread through late options, can be considered sequels.
