Peabody hated his own internal weakness. He had long prided himself as a serious man of great discipline, and yet here was was, like any easily baited sugar daddy, allowing Helen to run her fingers over his bald head while her blouse was unbuttoned wide open and she was playfully bumping her abundant cleavage right up against his face.
"Helen, this is ... this is unprofessional ... !"
"Well, I won't tell if you won't! Anyhow, I just wanted to thank you, for being so flexible to my demands."
"As long as they're reasonable." It was the last semi-dignified thing he could say, when the obvious fact that he was powerless not to do anything this huge-breasted beauty could suggest.
"Oh, it's reasonable. Take Dr. Rochelle Rivera. She's tops in the field, and would make an excellent right-hand man -- I mean, woman -- to you, don't you think?"
"I am very aware of Dr. Rivera. We just never ... had the opportunity to meet, is all."
Helen smiled archly, suspecting full well why this man -- and many a man like him -- had pointedly avoided Dr. Rivera. "Well, I'm glad you're seeing her today -- " She froze, then stood up off Dr. Peabody's desk. "In fact, I'd better be going." She swiftly buttoned back up and left, only to bump into Dr. Rivera on the way out. "Welcome aboard, Dr. Rivera."
"Why, thank you!"
Dr. Peabody felt a bit startled to finally meet Dr. Rivera. She was a true looker, with an extremely appealing figure even in her conservatively cut dress. "I have long been looking forward to this, Dr. Rivera," he admitted.
"And the same goes for me. Dr. Peabody, I'm wondering ... there's a lot I'd like to talk over with you. Why don't we have dinner tonight?"
Dr. Peabody got worried. If this was how she was, naturally ... "I generally don't fraternize."
"Well ... I don't think I could possibly be mistaken for your brother, so in the most technical sense it would not be 'fraternizing' at all."
Dr. Peabody laughed, while inwardly thinking, Go, I'm such a weakling around these women. "Fine, Dr. Rivera. Let's do that."
