Tweaking The Feminizor Ray

Unending BE - episode 843094

“So this is your Feminizor Ray?” Jim surveyed the equipment in the large basement lab. “How does it work?”

“The subject is tied up—um, positioned here,” indicated Sabine. “These transducers fill the space with a plasticizing field, making the body more malleable, while these sculpting beams”—she pointed to some quite menacing-looking pointy things—“cause the subject to take on the new form.”

“How is the form pattern specified?” asked Jim.

“Well, I just have a reference subject, like myself, stand under the scanning beams here.”

“And your entire form is copied onto the subject?”

“Not all of it,” amended Sabine. “The signal goes through these feature-extraction circuits, here, which I have tuned for sexual characteristics. So the subject keeps their same basic form, just a feminine version of it.”

“Hmm,” said Jim. “Have you thought of setting up two of these machines, working in opposite directions, one taking the first person as the reference and the second one as the subject, and the other the second as the reference, and the first as the subject?”

Sabine laughed. “So as the first one is copying its reference, it’s changing to match its subject, which the second one is copying to transform the first one? Sounds like you’re asking for feedback instabilities!”

“Not necessarily,” replied Jim. “Just add a holding-memory stage, so each one first copies its reference and stores the scan, and then when that’s done, both of them go to work on their subjects.”

“You know, that could work,” said Sabine thoughtfully.
