Nice piece with some good interactions between the characters though I felt like Erza came off really stiff in this one. Erza well on her way to becoming a full fledged member of Succubus Wings and it isn't even a ploy. Be interesting to see if Deneb discovered the way to remove that loyalty clause or if that is another one of the lies and tricks this guild is so full of. Also it's been awhile since Morrigan showed up, after she received that powerup. If no one else feels like picking her arc up I'll probably write something for her next week.
In case you're only checking this latest one, I answered your question in the previous episode's comments.
Thanks for the input it is much appreciated. Good to know you enjoy TFs too! I think the trying to base things on their magic is a good idea but at the same time I don't think it should be the sole consideration, for example the person/thing causing the change should be factored in too. Perfect example being juvia -> pokewoman because of Misty.
I agree that Erza's TF will/should be decently extreme; however, I really don't like robots/cyborgs that much. I do think though (mainly because I enjoy it more) that any TFs should be a bit gradual (not all though) so if you have a fun idea go for it.
I am thinking if we both change parts bit by bit slowly it could be really interesting. About Erza being stiff... I am still trying to get used to writing non science so properly describing things and especially carrying out conversations and balancing personalities (changing personalities at that!) is something I am struggling with. Sorry for the wall of text.
Realized I missed a few of your points in my response. With respect to the FT members losing/winning I think a mix of the two makes the most sense. The overall thing I think that should is important is how the win/loses change them.
With regards to Morrigan I was also thinking she is due for an appearance but haven't had a clue what to do with her and I kind of wanted to leave her for Cross, I feel like she is his character.
On to Erza's male slave, I was kind of going with the idea it was her new corrupt nature/power that was slowly changing him. The thought being it is the beginning of the manifestation of her power/sway over her thralls. I was going to make a very slow TF which would slowly speed up as her power increased and maybe even spread to her other thralls in time.
That being said your idea could be fun too. If I am making things seem too unbelievable or anything like that let me know. I don't want to ruin a good story by going overboard.
Been doing a bit of brain storming when bored and I have an idea to run past you guys.
Since Erza is almost at the inn I was trying to figure out how she would interact with the other FT members. I have been thinking of maybe making her act like she did very early in the series, that being very to the point, blunt, slightly (more so now) commanding and fear/awe inspiring.
I was thinking that doing this would allow them to interact in a somewhat expected way. I was also thinking of some fun ideas for Lucy (been thinking about her more than Juvia since Juvia is basically gonna be Lucy's pet correct?)
With Erza acting commanding and the way Lucy tends to be afraid of her and follow orders I thought it might be fun to have a contest of sorts between Erza and Alice. Both influencing Lucy in various ways to try and make her submit to their wills.
The out come of this could go a couple ways: firstly one of the two obvious out comes (Lucy as Erza's or Alice's slave), or Lucy could take her frustrations out on Juvia and her spirits and do a U turn and become a sadistic dominatrix herself. Or maybe some combo of the two, i.e. Lucy becomes a sadistic dominatrix minion (not slave) of Erza or Alice.
What are your thoughts on that? Also will probably write an episode later to clean up Deneb and Erza's interaction and maybe add some to Bickslow's encounter.
Good afternoon.
On your thoughts of Erza's behavior continuing on, I think regressing her to her former persona where she basically treats everyone like a tool and god help them if they break before they accomplish what she wants would be a fun way to take her character.
In regards to Juvia, basically she's going to take the Alpha position for Lucy's harem, instinctively. Which means Juvia will be very protective of Lucy, only tolerating Erza or Alice's harassment if Lucy tells Juvia to allow it. I can see Lucy granting that concession to Erza, since Lucy doesn't realize how much Erza's changed initially. Mental attacks from Alice will be hampered by Juvia grounding Lucy and disputing false memories that Alice might try to imprint or anything that might lead to Lucy becoming submissive.
Should events conspire to Lucy's corruption I would prefer her becoming a sadist causing the alliance that existed between Erza, Juvia, and Lucy to be completely broken. The mental link between Juvia and Lucy should having them both getting off by causing others pain and fear.
I should have my next episode up sometime tomorrow.
