Pregnant Pause: The plot thickens

Sharon's warning shook Trish up a bit, and she seemed nervous suddenly.

"What sort of 'too much of a good thing' are we talking about? I'm not gonna wake up pregnant again, am I?" she asked.

"No, don't worry. That's part two of the story."

Jim took over again. "After we saw that the shirt actually worked, I went back to the store and bought as many shirts as I could carry. I guess I was... in a bit of a daze...." Jim paused, not mentioning the effect that 2Hot had had on him. "Who ever heard of a store that sells magic shirts? Maybe I was worried it would disappear the next day."

"Come to think of it... I've been in that mall plenty of times, and I've never heard of 'Clothes Make the Woman'." said Trish, stunning both Jim and Sharon. They exchanged glances. They had been lucky it the store was still there... but that was a discussion for another time. Jim cleared his throat and continued.

"Anyway, with the excitement of the first shirt we sort of forgot about the others for a while. It was only a few days ago we found them again, and one of them caught Sharon's attention."

"Pregnant Pause." Sharon said. "A shirt with the word 'Pregnant' buttons like Pause, Play, Rewind, and so on. This time it was me getting carried away with the the fast forward and plus button that got me like this," she gestured her belly. "I grew too fast for the shirt and it ripped."

"That's when we found another one and I volunteered to try to stretch it out so we could get back to normal." Jim stroked his belly nervously, this being the first time anyone but Sharon had heard the tale. "But even after making me a woman, nine month pregnant with quadruplets, it still wasn't big enough for Sharon and it ripped when she tried to put it on."

Trish was quiet for a moment. She had let Stevie down after he had stopped suckling and fallen asleep and gotten dressed again, minus the Got Milk shirt. She seemed to consider Jim's last statement.

"So you're really a man!" Trish said to Jim. "I wondered why Sharon kept on calling you Jim."

Again, Jim was nervous. Before he could least he could pretend everything was normal, but now Trish knew the truth, and he felt very awkward.

"I have some questions about your story..." Trish began...

  1. Trish wants to know what it felt like for Jim to magically change sexes
  2. Trish asks about the other magic T-shirts
  3. *Trish wants to know about their magical pregnancies - if they are really pregnant or not
  4. Trish wants you to think of Something Else
