I've always felt that this or a similar storyline was ripe with potential, be it in doujinshi or fanfic. After I first watched that ep, I immediately trawled the interwebs looking for fanmade content centering around the awesome corruption scene, and found zilch.
I know Fairytail isn't as popular as other shonen series (which shall go unnamed), but I never imagined that that scene would pass by without remark.
Wow! I was very excited to read a new Fairy Tail thread and one so well crafted, full of rich detail, AND capturing the tone of the anime!
I had that exact same reaction to that scene.

I certainly did have a blast reading the Succubus Wings story. And Sirocco (and 72's) episodes in the Cursed Book storyline were more often than not hilarious. I considered contributing to the former, but found myself at a loss as to how. I find it really difficult to jump into a story that's developed so far and maintain the tone of the previous episodes.
And I greatly apreciate any more contributions Sirocco, you or any others might make to the story thread, be they feedback or episodes!
