Imagine all the way the events in the series could have turned out differently. What if Mirajane had been sent to Edolas instead of Lisanna? What if Laxus defeated Natsu and Gajeel? What if instead of the heroes pulling off a heroic save against Delioria, the villains play it safe and win due to superior tactics?
But today we ask, how would things have played out if a thoughtless rhyme game had landed on another person?

"But you girls look pretty hot," declared the long-haired man, Vidaldus Taka. One of said girls squirmed.
"Being cute only attracts trouble!" she lamented dramatically.
Interrupting with a sinister laugh, Vidaldus' next words were in the form of sing-song. "Now-which-one-should-I-choose?"
In the bowels of the Tower of Heaven, the stellar spirit mage Lucy Heartfilia, and the water mage Juvia Lockser were witness to this confusing scene. Their bizarre enemy, who had so casually resisted Juvia's powerful Waterlock - with his hair of all things! - was chanting a vulgar version of a children's counting rhyme. The female pair had no clue as to its purpose, but maintained their guard. Though he dressed and acted like a demented rock star, their adversary was a member of the Assassins' Guild 'Death's Head Caucus', and a one of the elite group, Trinity Raven. They couldn't take any chances with this opponent.
Taka continued to alternately wave his index finger between the two girls in time with his tune. "Lets-leave-it-up-to-the-Devil-in..." The marble-pale dark mage concluded his game with a dramatic jab towards the chosen girl, forebodingly finishing with "Hell!"
Lucy's eyes widened in fear, as their enemy's finger pointed straight at her.
"Guess what, blondie," growled Taka happily, "you're gonna be my Succubus today!"
Lucy trembled, as their opponent played his guitar. "A song?" She grimaced as she felt a bolt of what could only be called invasion. "Is that what... what... what's with this music!?"
"What is the matter, Lucy-san?" quickly asked Juvia. The man was playing his guitar, but she could discern no attack.
"This noise! Help me Juvia!" begged Lucy. Juvia blue eyes widened in shock as Lucy's body lifted into the air. "Natsu! Erza! Save meeeeeeee! He's in meeeee!" she wailed desperately, as Juvia watched in horror. "He's changing meeaaaaah!"
It had only taken a moment. Juvia stared agape as formless light overtook her companion, only to recede as quickly as it had appeared.
"Got me a loveslave," slithered Vidaldus sinisterly.
The person that stood where he was looking wasn't the same as the one from seconds before.
Gone was the elegant green dress. Instead this person wore skin-tight jeans of shredded denim, almost revealing as much skin of her legs and ass it concealed. A loose purple belt hung slanted on her hips.
Her delicate sandals were no more, replaced with chunky, black laced boots of faded leather. Up top, she wore a ripped half t-shirt was cut off just beneath her nipples, the right of which betrayed the outline of a piercing. The garment displayed scandalous under-cleavage. Above this stretched a flimsy and ragged black-net top with no sleeves. Practically transparent, it didn't hide the large skull-in-flames tattoo that took up most of her left side. Nor would it do much to conceal the elaborate tramp-stamp on the small of her back.
Her arms were decorated, not with jewellery, but with a scattershot selection of tattoos. Her right upper arm and left elbow bore spider-webs. Her left shoulder displayed a heart design inside which a skeletal cherub bore a sign reading "DEATH". Bracelets and tattoos of such adorned her wrists. Her fingers were not ringed, but instead each bore a tattooed red letter. The letters of her left hand spelt "ROCK", her right hand; "COCK". The fingernails of that right hand were painted a dark purple. Those on the left; a bright gold.
Taking all this in was a simple task in comparison to the changes that had occurred to Lucy's facial features. Above a thick necklace of dull, steel links was a face almost foreign to Juvia.
Heavy round earrings hung from her ears, as well as various smaller, delicate ones in the shape of bats and skulls. These framed an expression of wicked delight, as this new Lucy smiled with lips of bright, metallic-effect gold. This was in stark contrast to the heavy, purplish rouge she wore, and the thick dark purple eye shadow that threatened to engulf her narrowed eyes entirely. Her wrinkled nose bore a small stud in her right nostril. Juvia's eyes rose to where Lucy's green scarf had sat, now discarded.
What was still blonde in the stellar spirit mage's hair was now of the peroxide slant. Its length was actually shorter, and cut tightly at the sides of her head. But it seemed bigger than ever, jutting up high with a backwards curve, sweeping down her neck. Its volume was made up of dozens of chunky spikes of neon colours, primarily purple, bleach blonde and red.
But these changes were all cosmetic. It was when Lucy spoke that Juvia realised with dread just how much the Fairy Tail mage had been changed. Her voice. Its harshness was alien.
"I'm gonna spank you down, skank! Spank you all the way your wet guts!"
Was this really Lucy? wondered Juvia frantically, as 'Lucy' pointed a colourful fingernail at her. "You're gonna go splash, bitch! Then," she balled her right hand and thrust it forward, "I'm gonna ROCK," she added her left fist, "that COCK!" Saying so, she licked her lips lasciviously and chuckled roughly. But Juvia didn't hear it.
'Rock that... cock'.
'Rock that... cock'.
'Rock that... cock'.
Juvia repeated the declaration over and over her head, blushing at the phrase, until she understood what Lucy meant.
"Do you mean Gray-sama's...!? You mean to steal away Gray-sama's...!?"
"No, dumbass," sneered the succubus Lucy. "I mean him!" she insisted, pointing toward the sniggering Vidaldus. Juvia wasn't listening.
"Juvia will not forgive you!" And with that, she launched herself at her rival.
"Oh fuuuuuuuuck!” screamed Taka's new slave, describing her situation succinctly.
Taka himself, was for his part, thrilled with Juvia's initiative. "Ohohoho! Ahaha! Yes! A tearful battle of love rivals! Girl-on-girl is the best!"
