Fusion Worlds: Beach now a desert? Where'd all the water go?

Raven dusted herself off as Azuu performed for Toponta. "Weird girl..." She muttered as she turned back towards her surroundings.

"Uhhh, weren't we at a beach?" Raven asked the two fusion girls. All turned to where the water had been, only to see noting but desert in there path.

"Situation is very abnormal." Azuu said, putting aside her desire for attention for the moment for the more pressing matter of where the water had gone.

"I don't feel it under the earth. Its like it just all evaporated." Toponta chimed in.

All three girls looked at one another and then up Azuu and Raven looked up, nearly gasping. The water had lifted up off the ground and was now floating in the air, above them. Not a single bit of moist ground was beneath then on the sand and rock to indicate the strange phenomena and not one of them was sure how long the event would last.

"What's going on?" Toponta wondered as she could see both girls but not the water above.

"Lets just say there's probably a chance of ran here sometime soon. Perhaps we should head in another direction?" Azuu asked.

"Yes... in a hurry..." Raven added as they went in the opposite direction of the beach, eager not to be washed away once all that water came crashing down, assuming it was a crash and it didn't just 'float' back down.

With that, the tree unlikely companions traveled past the beach outcroping and into what appeared to be a mountain forest mixed with a bamboo jungle. A strange hybrid to say the least as bits of bamboo shot out of the trees at odd angles. There...

  1. The come across some local, unchanged wild life. Though some wildlife was getting a bit too close for Raven's comfort.
  2. Feeling safe again, Azuu begins showing off again for attention.
  3. Toponta sees someone. It must have been someone else she recognized from a game or cartoon!
  4. *As they predicted, the water came crashing down and flooding the area, soon catching up to them. Time to go for high ground before they're washed out with the tide!
