Good work, but…you bypassed my current favorite topic, messing with Akane. Sadness.
Akane having a growing and ill-defined interest in harem anime is terribly tame and isn't really much of anything, considering she's in one and all. That just means she could handle watching her own show. He didn't say it was an especially ecchi harem or anything, even.
I mean, "Clannad" is a harem anime, and I think even untainted Akane would love that (though she'd get quite embarrassed once or twice). I mean, it's not like they were talking about harem *eroge* or something. Now *that* would make for some interesting developments, especially if she got into playing the part of the faceless male protagonist who collects a full-service harem of his own.
If the anime were the first step towards something like that, then that could be pretty fun. Hmm. Maybe further down the line if no one does anything interesting with her in the meantime.
