Samus 9yo: To the bottom of the pool

Samus floated there in the water, completely content and gently relaxing as the last particles of what was once her zero suit dissolved next to her. She idly wondered what was at the bottom of the pool, and decided to find out.

She took a deep breath, and began to swim down to the bottom. She almost just went straight back up. It just seemed like too much effort to her slightly drowsy mind, but she kept at it, until she reached the bottom finding...

Some kind of underwater cavern, with a pocket of air kept supplied by a small hole.
*Some kind of drain at the bottom, which opened when she touched the bottom, sucking her in.
Some kind of object. Samus pulled it back up to the surface with her.
Nothing. It was just a slightly spongy floor. But when Samus resurfaced, she found that the slime had formed a layer around her skin, similar to her zero suit.
Something else.
