Wishing Ranma: Enter, Akane

Well, of course it would be her. Why wouldn't it be? She often trained in here, broke bricks, demanded him to spar with her, and so on. Obviously that was why she was here now. Kitted out in her usual training gear as she was kind of gave him a big clue on that front.

This was a rare opportunity for him to just look at her. No fighting, nobody trying to force them together or split them apart. No harsh words, no misunderstandings. Just her, standing stock still. He was still angry at the interruption, but the opportunity did somewhat dampen that frustration.

In all honesty, he could see why she was so pursued, so frequently. She was beautiful, in her own way. Not the same way as Shampoo - sultry, sensual, seductive - but in a different way. She was... charming. Challenging. That was it. He liked a challenge. So did she, come to think of it. Probably what had drawn them together. Made them so close, in spite of their frequent fights.

Well, whatever. This wasn't something he should be putting off figuring out. When he unfroze time, Akane would enter the dojo and see Shampoo naked on the floor, with her clothes strewn all over the place. This was not something that would be conducive to her mood, or their relationship.

Relationship, huh? What were they really? Friends? Engaged? Well, the second was true, but did it actually mean anything?

No, stop this. There's a problem to solve. An infuriating and inevitable interruption that had to be dealt with sooner or later. He was aggravated it was sooner, but here they were. He still had the rock. Any number of wishes bubbled up to his mind, but he was quickly able to boil it down to five.

The first was obvious. Make her into his student, just as he had Shampoo. The main strength was that it would make things simpler in the long run, but the problem was that at this rate he'd wind up with a bunch of "students" fighting for his attention in a similar way that the fiancees all were already. Still, if he dealt with it right that might not happen anyway.

The second one was an amusing solution to the problem. Simply wish that nobody thought negatively about him or Shampoo when he ordered her to do something. He could have sex with her right in front of Akane, and at most she would simply criticise his ability to satisfy a woman.

The third wish he could make was that he could fix it so that if he didn't want people to see or otherwise notice Shampoo, they wouldn't. She'd walk in, Shampoo would be naked and Akane wouldn't even look at the girl. Hah! That one had the potential to be amusing, if he was able to order Shampoo to play pranks on Akane without drawing suspicion.

The fourth that sprung to mind was the most boring. Simply wish that people would leave him and Shampoo alone. Have Akane turn back and go do something else. Anything else. If she went away now, didn't open the door, Akane wouldn't see Shampoo. Problem solved.

The last wish he was considering was simply that he have abilities other than the power to stop time. A variety of possibilities entered his mind that would be useful in situations like this. Having the power meant he wouldn't have to make carefully worded wishes every time he needed to get out of the same situation.

He took his time, since he had so much of it on his hands. As he internally deliberated, he thought carefully about the five possibilities, and thought up many more. But which should he go with? Eventually, his mind was made up. "I wish-"
