Sam watched her go, just like so many others before her. He watched her bobble and titter out of sight up the road, right to where she had 'discretely' parked her car a few blocks away.
Too bad that always exposed his more 'famous' clientele to the paparazzi. Seriously, these people just didn't understand how to hide what they were doing. Sometimes it was just outright cognitively deficient.
He eased the door closed, and stared at the stack of money still on the table. It was a decent haul, enough to last him a couple of weeks before he needed to start searching for another client -- unless another found him.
He went over to a cabinet and pulled out a shot glass and a bottle of Grey Goose vodka. He always kept a bit of hard liquor on hand, in cause a girl needed some 'loosening up' before she stripped down. He rarely had to resort to that; he was too well known now for people to doubt his abilities and too well practiced in charms for anyone to really resist.
But that was the thing, wasn't it? He was just too damn charming...too damn in control.
He took the shot and refilled it, growling at the taste.
Sam...really wished he had a television right now. He was too tired to go to a bar, and too tired to go looking for some nighttime entertainment. He settled on his bottle of vodka, and took shots til the world turned dark.
