A Meteorite

The world is the same as ever. Billions of people all around the world going on with their lives as normal. However, what all of them didn't realise, was that their worlds were going to change. For the rest of their lives.

You see, about ten scientists from a secret government lab discovered that a meteorite was heading due course for the sun. The problem was that they dismissed the idea that the meteorite would destroy the sun and that the sun would just roast the meteorite to nothingness.

And they were half right. The sun did roast the meteorite to nothingness. But what they didn't notice was that the meteorite released something into the sun. The sun then, for unknown reasons, managed to convert it into it's light rays. And now, the sun's light was ready to mutate the entire world.

But enough of the backstory. For the remainder of this story, we will focus on one certain family - The Raybeam family.
