Shairon: The Preparation

(Third I looked at the parallel thread and pounded his forehead. I hoped I had made things clear, but I guess they need to be clearer. Shairon is not royalty even though she is called "your majesty" and "Lady Shairon." This is my mistake for not being clear enough in episode 585253. When Shairon and her party entered the city there was no fanfare and no excited masses. Then Shairon remembered that Roijita had said that she wasn't really a ruler of much.[585253]

The party would need to prepare for their journey but were interrupted by the local new year festivities. Though it was summer there. Trigish had been a hit with the younger ch*ldren of Guerdia. While Roijita and Shairon had gotten drunk. So the next day they awoke with headaches to prepare for the trip.

Shairon realized that the thing she would need most for her journey was knowledge. Knowledge about her magic, about the lands, and about her place in this world. She delved into the library. (To read the stuff she read and for more explanation go to the Informative Episode)

Now Shairon understood a bit more. She would need to be prepared because she couldn't just magic them out of everything. She also was, apparently a minor noble, or something, and barely that anymore.

She and Roijita went and bought (with the little money that Roijita managed to bring with her) a map, two cheapish spears for themselves, several water skins, and a bundle of food.

With that they set off. Trigish saying goodbye to the friends he'd made. Heading out over the same bridge they'd crossed before.
