Shairon: The Battle & The Gift & The Mission

Shairon refused to give up that easily. She sprang into the air flapping her wings.

Looking back she noticed that the Voiceless Ones had shot sparks down at her friends, but, suddenly, they were deflected as the Wanderer held her friends behind him. So he had power after all.

Shairon felt the substance still draining her powers. She had to end this quickly.

She unleashed fire balls, "Phwego! Phwego! Phwego!" but the Voiceless Ones countered with their lightening.

Give up now, the Voiceless Ones signed. Your powers are nearly gone.

Shairon knew they were right. Her body was weakening. There was one last thing she could do, if she gave it back to them back... they might not hurt her friends. "Haeblir!" Shairon said. The Voiceless Ones received faces just before Shairon fell to the ground her vision fading...

She woke up again, slowly. As her eyes opened she saw someone ministering to her. You're awake now I see. Shairon tried to get up. No no, don't rise you're still weak. I had to mend four broken ribs. Shairon's consciousness faded again.

She woke again. Roijita was at her side, "You're awake. Oh, lady I was so worried."

"Who was in here before?" asked Shairon.

"That was Dr. Emiliel. After you cured their people the Voiceless Ones felt they needed to repay you."

"Their people?"

"Yes they sent someone back and found that all of the people had been healed. At least that's what Mr. Wanderer says."

"Roijita, how long have I been asleep?"

"Only two days lady."

Later after Shairon had healed more, she met with the Voiceless Ones' leader.

My people are truly grateful for your gift. You always shall have an ally in us. Now we part. Then he and his court turned and left leaving barely a footprint to show they had been there.

"Shairon I hadn't been assured a'fore," said the Wanderer. "but now I know that yer comin' inta this world were no mistake. The way ya saw the way ta be makin' peace has shown that mayhap yer the one ta be bringing balance ta the lands."

"How did you know that I recently came to this world?" asked Sharion.

"I ahm a guardian ain't I gal. The other guardians an' I knowed it ta moment you came inta this land. In ta form that can pass between our guardianships. We at first was suspicious that perhaps ya were comin' ta destroy o' ruin ta lands, but now I see that yer here ta save ta world."

"How am I supposed to save the world?"

"Ya must get yerself access ta the ancient chamber underneath ta city of peace o' Guerdia fer most. Ta get inta that chamber ya must collect three keys. Ya must journey deep inta the depths of the land an' the sea an' the sky."

"I am not sure if I should but I will. If that is why I'm here then I will. So I can stay here with Roijita."

"Then I will go with you lady," said Roijita.

Trigish added a note that meant, I will also.

"No I won't put you two in danger," said Shairon.

"I would rather die of starvation than go without you," stated Roijita.

Seeing that she would get rid of Roijita she turned back to Trigish, "I couldn't make you come with us. I enchanted you. It would be unfair."

The Wanderer piped up, "That there spell done faded away already."

I'm coming, played Trigish.

"Then I have no choice," said Shairon. "Where is the first key?"

"The key of ta land resides..."
