The answer was the retail store Big Buys, but Melvin Milton didn't find it for a long time. And Victor was not part of it.
Hitting hard time, Melvin Milton couldn't even find a job as a shelf stocker. In the end, all he could find work as was as a janitor, cleaning up the messes of both customers and employees.
Melvin had grown even larger in the next year. He was the butt of many jokes at the store, but he didn't mind with the cycle of self-disgust which followed. After all, he was a mad scientist - he should have known that often didn't end well in the movies.
It was only a matter of time before he was either too fat to do this job or died of a heart attack from the daily frustration.
Though he was only bordering on 260, the latter seemed most likely. Big Buys was a store which profited off an attitude which was both mercenary and elitist at the same time. The result was surprisingly disarming despite its cut-throat nature. The company quite often times encourages sales rep to ignore - if not slightly mock - anyone with questions. Their main priority were people buying big TV's, big hard drive's, big projectors and the like. They were also trained to dissuade anyone looking to compare two items, so obviously no item was as powerful as the store brand.
So in other words, Melvin Milton was in Hell, surrounded by customer service douche bags and the angry and ignorant responses they provoke.
But all it took was one little indulgence to send Melvin Milton - recovering mad genius - into relapse, and though Melvin Milton thought he had long this dismantled all his mad scientist gear, he was about to find out how wrong he was.
