Dr. Odekirk was hovering nearby, surrounded by nurses. He gave Katie an oily smile. "Welcome back my dear. How are you feeling?"
"My head kinda hurts," said Katie rubbing her forehead in confusion. Her thinking felt all fuzzy.
"Ah yes, we thought that might happen. Alas, Ms Brown's mental capacity was not quite the equal of your own so you undoubtedly feel a degree of cognitive diminishment. The headache will leave you soon enough but I'm afraid the reduction in IQ is permanent."
"Huh?" said Katie totally lost.
Dr. Odekirk sighed. "In English: You've become a bimbo."
"But, but what will I do now?" gasped the Texan accented blonde. She shook her head stubbornly. "I can't be dumb - I'm not even blonde!"
"You are now, remember?" said Odekirk with a touch of impatience. He signalled a hovering nurse who held up a mirror. Katie gasped at her reflection: a stunningly beautiful nineteen year old blonde stared back at her with crystal blue eyes.
"Oh my gawd... is that me?" Katie said in delight, completely forgetting she'd been called a bimbo.
"Yes," said Dr. Odekirk. "You're Ashley Brown now. Here are your things."
Katie was handed her (Ashley's) clothes and files about her new indentity. Consumed by curiosity Katie looked over the files, even if she stumbled over a few big words. It turned out Ashley Brown was...
