Legion Girls: Another Bunch of Girls

Jim found himnself standing in a huge plaza surrounded by large futuristic-looking buildings. Vehicles moved on the ground and in the air, while people in exotic outfits, often skin-tight, walked back and forth. Not all of them were human, either.

Jim turned slowly left and right, admiring the buildings and looking for some clue as to where and when he was. He noticed a holographic sign on front of one doorway, informing him that inside was the "Galaxy-Famous Nine Planets Ice Cream Shop". That goofy name rang a bell, and Jim continued to turn in a slow circle, a growing sense of awe welling up in him. He saw a street sign identifying the broad square as "Weisinger Plaza", and then his scanning field of vision came around to a yellow-painted building that tapered from a broad roof to a relatively narrow bottom. That shape, plus the decorative red fins on its sides, made it look as though an immense rocketship had crashed there. Jim recognized it from comic books he'd read as the headquarters of the Legion of Super-Heroes, and knew he was in Metropolis, Superman's home town, in the 30th or 31st Century.

Jim saw a group of female legionnaires emerging from the Legion headquarters. One of them approached him, and he recognized her as

  1. XS, granddaughter of the Flash.
  2. A surprisingly cute female version of the insectlike Legionnaire called Gates.
  3. Earth-Girl, aka Kira Niedrich and Absorbency Girl.
  4. Turtle Girl.
  5. Sizzle.
  6. *Someone Else.
