I know I'm biased, but I'm not sure approaching Akane would go as badly as y'all seem to think. Girl-type Ranma offering to submit to Akane? That is the sort of thing that could quite plausibly leap right past her barriers and spark her deeper instincts. It's so easy to go the "Akane reflexively pounds him" route, or even the "Akane submits herself to Ranma" route, but the reverse? I can only think of one case ever. So why not? But if no one else will (and I'm reasonably sure they won't), maybe I'll try to write it eventually.
I could see her 'submitting' to someone like Nabiki before Akane. Seems a more suitable personality. :d
Except she really has no reason whatsoever in this case to trust Nabiki. I'm not saying that wouldn't be possible, but I just don't see why she would even want to. There isn't even as much positive history between them as with Ryoga. She definitely *could* have a positive submissive relationship with Nabiki, but I just don't see why she'd even really think to go to her about it.
I should have said.. that I think i could see Nabiki being more responsive to being the Dom. :D
