F4U: Make-Your-Own-Pet Kit

Ranma still wasn't quite sure what would have happened if he'd left without at least a "Make-Your-Own-Pet Kit". But at least he knew he'd escaped being responsible for someone else's life. Just because he had the means of making a girl into a pet, didn't mean he would, as the box lid told him to do, "Just Add Water".

In fact, why didn't he destroy it, so that no one could use it. If he didn't, life would probably become even more complicated for him. That was the way his luck seemed to go.

Thinking about that luck, he decided to play it cautious for a change. He was sitting on top of the Tendos' roof, looking to see at instructions from the kit, to see if there were anything toxic or explosive.(The powder did look and smell sort of like gunpowder. Invented by Chinese Taoists in their search for a way, ironically, to cheat death.)

He was looking at a vile labeled "Essence of Thyme", when he was suddenly set upon...
