"I promise you," the Italian woman whispered to him, "After this is all over, you and me and every woman in this hotel have a date with you."
Not every woman, Jim thought as he thought of Chloe, Just one.
And so the event went on. For the next two hours Jim sat in judgment of the many many many beautiful women that paraded around in competition for the title of Miss Great Shape. They flexed in workout clothes, swooned in formal gowns, and teased in barely-there bikinis. As the contest drew to a close, Vaughn threw to a commercial just prior to the announcing of the women. All of the contestants assembled on stage, and based on the lusty look in their eyes, he knew their stunt was about to happen. Fearing for his immortal soul (not to mention a fine from the FCC), Jim quickly scribbled down his choice for winner, left it with the Italian, and rushed to the elevator. Arriving on the eighth floor, he made a beeline for Chloe's room. At the door he knocked.
"Who is it?" came Chloe's voice.
"It's me, Jim," he said, "Can I come in? The contest I was judging is about to come to an abrupt end."
Chloe opened the door, revealing that she was wearing a bathrobe. Her hair was dripping wet. "Sorry, I just finished in the shower. Come in." Jim followed her inside and she said "Make yourself comfortable. I'm just going to put my dress on. We're still going out, right?"
At that moment the sound of the horrified screams of network executives attending the contest echoed throughout the hotel.
