The girls screamed as the two gigantic medusas surged towards them. Jen and the mermaid carried on shouting to them but backed away from the lands edge, ready to flee as soon as they had saved everyone.
The girls were in a panic. Half a dozen ran away up into the hills hoping to escape the medusas. The other dozen or so headed for the water. Becky's tail lashed out into the crowd, and she pulled her trembling prizes, Zoe, Alyssa and Janey, up towards her face.
"Now where are you three going? You'd really rather become fish freaks than become perfect like us?"
Zoe tried to plead with her former friend. "P-please, Becky, you're not well...d-don't...please don't turn us into monsters..."
Becky smiled at her. "I'm not going to turn you into monsters. I'm going to turn you into *goddesses*."
With that, she sank her fangs into Zoe's arm, and released the transforming venom into her bloodstream, and seconds later the same venom was flowing around Alyssa and Janey's bodies. Becky laid the trio gently to the ground as their bodies began their unstoppable transformation. She looked over at Kristin and saw that Fiona, Katy and Natalie were undergoing a similar metamorphosis.
By now, Linda, Gina, Peri, Rachel, Kelly and Catherine had jumped into the water, and were hoping their transformations would be quick so that they could escape the Medusas. Jen and her friend swam around their legs underwater, watching as they were replaced with long tails. The six girls could hardly bare to watch as their friends lay on the bank writhing in agony as they were transformed. Jen and the mermaid appeared on the surface.
"Girls, its over. You're all mermaids now. We have to get out of here." She turned to the mermaid. "Do you know a safe escape route?"
The mermaid nodded. "Can't you speak?" Jen asked her. The mermaid shook her head, then pointed down and dived under the water.
"Come on girls." Jen said. The girls were too stunned by their new tails to move. "Come on! We've got to get out of here before they come after us!"
Kelly pointed at the girls on the shore. "What about them, Jen? We can't just leave them here!"
Jen watched as the six girls began to hiss and moan as their legs stretched and mutated into one long slimy tail, and they began to become aroused with their new medusa form, as they wrapped themselves around each other.
"Kelly, don't you see, they're not human anymore. They're totally evil, and theres nothing we can do to save them." The other girls began to dive under the water and follow the mermaid to safety. "We have to get out of here, Kel. I know its hard to leave them but they're not the people we knew anymore. Come on."
On the shore, Becky marvelled as six new medusas came into being, and were now hissing and kissing every each of each others bodies.
"Thankyou Becky," hissed Zoe. "If I'd known I'd feel as good as this, I'd never have struggled."
Kristin came up behind Becky and curled her tail around her, kissing the back of her neck. "Becky, what are we going to do about the ones that got away?"
