Seems like only yesterday that someone was pointing out to me "Pssst! Use your <, p, and > to chop up some proper paragraphs!" I continue to be very new to computers; in fact, I was not even properly set up at home till December 2002, and my first Addventure episodes were snuck in from public library terminals.
I'm mainly replying because I'd like 378 episodes by June's end: 378 - 12 (total episodes from 2002) = 366 episodes in first half of 2003 = JH-like average of two episodes a day. I may junk that, or I may shoot for a thousand episodes by this time (Wed 18 Jun) next year, it could go either way.
I first came here to get my rocks off, and that was really all I was doing until I went nuts in March. The next thing I knew, I got an e-mail saying that I was the top contributor for March. However, I'm replying to basically say that I can't really reply right now, because I have no idea what kind of writer I am. Hopefully I'll have that worked out a year from now, but as of now my talespinning has been all over the map. Some of my threads will tie together, but as for most of them, who knows? The fact is that I have not yet figured out "What makes a DruulEmpire episode a DruulEmpire episode?" Maybe some reader out there can answer that question better than I could right now.
So I cross my fingers for Chili Palmer's return, and hope to have the full-length story done by Christmas which will at long last explain WHY I call myself DruulEmpire. Meanwhile, I take it easy and look over the work of veterans like JH or newcomers like Laelia. I'm new, registered as of three months ago, so I'm willing to slow down and learn a thing or two -- though if you see me knocking off some Francis-style quickies from time to time, don't be alarmed, that's just me, that'll happen.
Since I have the option, I offer some questions to other readers and writers, namely --
