Nick Caesar

The setting -- an elaborate forum chamber, ionic columns of white polished stone lofting up the high roof to give a wide open view of the surroundings. And impressive surroundings they are, as this chamber commands an open view of the countryside surrounding it, perched near the rocky top of a hill dotted with wild vines and olive trees, a broad flagstone path winding its way up to the observation point. Soft breezes carry through the chamber, as nothing but the columns shield it from the countryside. In front of each column stands a centurion, embossed shield and spear held at the ready, their helms set level and their bodies faceless.

In the center of the open chamberon a dais reclines Nick Caesar, a tall man of lightly tan skin, firm jawline and patrician nose. His dark-set eyes survey the surrounding lands idly, a circlet of golden laurels shining in the dawning sunlight against a head of short-cropped brown hair. His toga is of finespun white cloth that matches the marbled stone of the citadel around him, and the leather cuirass inscribed with imagery of warfare and fertility and half-cloak of imperial purple mark him as a ruler of men in this imaginary land. Bronze greaves inlaid with lacquered purple and simple thong sandals complete his attire.

Idly he plucks a grape from one of his nearest attendants -- for a harem of pneumatically enhanced beauties of all colors and shapes hover around him, eager to please him in any way the Caesar desires, at least until he erases them and moves on to the next interesting idea for sex personified.

He glances up. "Hail, interogator! What questions do you have for Nick Caesar?"

  1. "Hail Caesar!" the questioner responds, "I was wondering about one of your threads..."
  2. *Someone comes forth. "Great Caesar, what kinds of things appeal to your imperial fancies?"
  3. A petitioner asks, "Oh mighty Caesar, so what's with all this get-up, eh?"
  4. *Some other question.
  5. Something totally different happens in this setting.
