Dr. Wechsel had been alerted by the security sensors and now went out to see who was approaching,as a guard detail moved around at a distance to prevent escape in case those arriving needed to be dealt with.A woman and a snake-woman,he saw.

"Are you bringing her here to be cured?",he asked.

"Yes!",Christine said,quavering as she looked Aspa in the eye.

"A cure is imposssssible!",Aspa hissed."There issss no point in trying...and it isssn't a cure if I want to ssstay a snake-woman!"

"I don't expect a snake-woman to stay up to date on our research.We've made significant advances..."
