The time came when Jim ached, but in a nice way, but had to relent. He disengaged from the VR, then returned home.
The next day, Jim returned to work at the offices of Barstow Murchison, a major PR firm. He thought he was going to get through his routine without incident, when a call came from his boss, Mr. Sutherland. Grumbling, Jim obeyed the summons.
"Jim," said Mr. Sutherland, we have a new client: Addcademy."
Jim was properly impressed. "The new computer company started by Trixie Addington?"
"The same. That crazy woman adds the word Add everywhere: Addcademy, Addmazon Media, Addstronaut Investments, even AddAir Airlines. Anyhow, Addcademy is hoping to make cheap and truly sensation VR computer access more available to the average consumer."
"That's incredble!"
Sutherland's eye sparkled. "I'm glad you feel that way -- because I'm putting you in charge of Addcademy testing and research. How do we market this?"
"And help make Trixie Addington more billions," groaned Jim.
"While you and I could make a cool million. Don't knock it, Jimbo."
For the remainder of the day, Jim suited up in Addcademy's gift module, and handled basic business in VR in a way that reminded him of the movie Disclosure.
He was about done with his day's experiences, when he heard a familiar voice. "Hello, Jim!"
In VR, Jim turned. Directly behind him was a sweetly smiling blimp-bazoomed Susanne Brecht, showering in slow motion, sponging and soaping her abundant knockers.
"I couldn't get enough of you, Jim. I had to come see you!"
