Sarah indicated Kleigh’s ankle with a claw, showing the green ring around the skin.
Carefully, Michelle removed the bracelet, and held it up for the other werewolves to examine.
Cheap junk, Rhonda growled.
Emily shook her head in confusion. No understand. Sent by other werewolves.
“Have they given you anything else?” Kleigh asked.
Gave silver bracelet, Emily replied. That work fine.
“Then there’s no reason for them to suddenly send you a fake. Hmm,” he pondered, stroking his chin.
Krista suddenly growled in anger. Someone steal from us!
“I hate to say it, but it makes sense. Someone could have taken the real bracelet, and switched it with that replica. But for that to work, they’d have to know about you all, and have been here to see the bracelet.”
The werewolf girls thought about it, though no one could figure out who would not only know their secret, but also about the bracelet. After all, it never left the house!
Whoever take in great danger, Loupy growled. They
use three times in row, they never change back!
“Then we’ve got to find them. Hopefully, they haven’t used it too much.”
The eight made their way upstairs (Kleigh followed after putting on his briefs and pants), attempting to catch some previously missed scent from the storage box or the room.
