“We could find a secret backdoor into Heaven.”
Katherine crossed her arms and shook her head in disbelief. “No offense, girl, but that’s the stupidest shit I’ve ever heard.”
Samantha returned a steely glare at her succubus sister. “Well, I don’t hear you brimming over with ideas!”
“Just face it, Sam!” Katherine spat, unintentionally baring her fangs as she did so. “We’re demons! We’re fucked, okay!? Quit fucking deluding yourself!”
“If Candace can come back from the depths of Hell and all Lust did to her and get in, we can too! We’ve just gotta believe we can!”
Katherine threw her hands up in frustration. “We sold our souls, Samantha! This is it! We’re the fucking enemy to them! Heaven wouldn’t take us if we offered them Lust’s head on a silver platter!”
Sam was about to respond when she paused, thoughtfully stroking her chin with a clawed finger. “You might be onto something, Kath. Maybe they’ll let us in, if we can somehow capture Lust and deliver her to them.”
Katherine looked over her fellow demoness, and spoke her next words with total conviction…
