The glow extended outwards from Candace and enveloped the church. Katherine had to look away because of the brightness, but she would glance back every few seconds and what she saw was amazing. The church was restoring before her eyes! A fresh coat of paint and weatherstripping fell into place, boards came off windows, lightbulbs appeared in outdoor fixtures. Soon the glow faded away and Candace turned to her.

"We can go in now. We'll be protected in here."

"Candi... we need to talk. Just what are you?"
