Try as they might, the portal refused to open. There just wasn't enough magic in the room to support them all.

"We need more magic," Morgan postulated, "There's just not enough left in here to do the job."

"But aside from the wand, there's no magic in this world," Becky said. "Magic comes from the Fantasy World."

"And that's on the other side of the portal," Amy said.

Then Beth said, "I have an idea. I know how we can squeeze a little more magic into the room."

Beth grabbed Becky by the hand and led her to underneath a showerhead. She turned in on, splashing Becky with water and turning her back into a mermaid.

"Hey, not here!" Becky cried, "I can't swim on a tile floor!"

"I know, but your transformation dumped some more energy into the room. Let's try to open the portal again now."

And so they tried...

  1. ... and succeeded.
  2. *... and succeeded, but the portal looked pretty weak. Only one or two people would be able to go through, max.
