Weretigresses: Almost Hopeless

“Beth,” Morgan croaked, huddled as close to the opposite side of the cage as the silver links would allow, “forgive me, but she said she'd kill you unless I make you a weretigress." Beth stared at Morgan in horror. Once the sun set Morgan would change into a powerful, sexy weretiger, and then, with just a little nip, Beth would become one too.

Now, this may not sound all that bad to you. And in fact Beth herself had just recently been reconsidering her reluctance to join with Morgan in her lycofelini curse. But being forced into it, under threat of death, while chained to a silver cage and under constant video surveillance... well, that just pissed Beth off. It just wasn't right, dammit!

"If I ever get out of here..." Beth mumbled angrily under her breath. But there wasn't much hope of escape. The fact of the matter was, she was locked in a silver cage and was completely at the mercy of Theresa Beaumont and her Debate Club comrades. And soon a horde of reporters would arrive and then the whole world would know about the Weretigresses of Shadow Peak. And then what? Would her silver cage be traded in for a circus cage? Or would it be something even worse?

And then Beth and Morgan heard a very loud explosion and the room they were in rocked slightly.

  1. Theresa runs back into the room; her face white with fear!
  2. *Three armored figures burst into the room - uh oh, they're what's left of the Hunters and they're looking for pay back!
  3. More explosions rock the room - what the hell is going on?
