“The next time you transform back to your normal self, we’ll need to get your libido back to normal levels.”
Nora shrugged. “Okay, how?”
Jim smirked. “How do you think?”
A smile played across the wolf-woman’s muzzle. “You animal, you.”
“Better believe it. You’ll need to handle it yourself, though, to avoid unnecessary risk to me. Once we get you satisfied and calm, we’ll try re-engineering your cellular state. You’ll still be a werewolf, and you’ll still change back and forth, but your heat will be down to manageable levels.”
The she-wolf padded down toward her mate. “Sounds good. But, what about you?”
Jim shrugged. “Assuming I’m right on all my calculations, you’re a true werewolf. You pass on whatever cellular characteristics you have to anyone you exchange fluids with. That means the next time we make love, you’ll infect me.” Jim smirked. “I’ll become just like you.”
Nora nodded solemnly. “Jim…are you okay with that?”
He stroked the fur on her cheek, pulling her gently into a mouth-to-muzzle kiss.
The she-wolf shed a tear. “Jim…I love you.”
Jim wrapped her in a hug. “I love you, too.”
