“Well, since we’re not dealing with normal wolves,” Jim said, stroking his chin, “I doubt they’d put them on exhibit. I mean, they know they’re also people.”
Nora nodded, shaking her jacket loose again. “They have a building on the far side of the zoo that’s used for receiving transported animals. They probably took them there.”
“Sounds about right. Now, how do we get in and give them the antidote?”
Nora shrugged. “Sneak in a window?”
“Oh, come on!” Jim groaned, rolling his eyes. “They’ll be on us too fast that way!”
“Well, fine, then! We’ll just slip them a couple bottles of antidote, and let them do it for us.”
“Maybe,” Jim mused, “but what if they don’t want to use it?”
Nora groaned. “They know what’s up with them, Jim. They can’t just keep them like that.”
Jim nodded, raising his arms defensively. “Sorry, too much X-Files in my head.”
His partner in crime smiled. “I could distract them for you. Make them think one of the werewolves escaped.”
Amazement crossed Jim’s face. “Again with the werewolf bit, Nora? Obsess much?”
She frowned. “You’ve got a better idea, spill it.”
“Even if I did want to, which I don’t, I don’t have any perfume to make it happen.”
