Jim let loose with a torrent of pinkish antidote from his Super Soaker. He hosed down the lupines (5 in all) with the entire reservoir, lucking out enough to get plenty inside their muzzles. Slowly, they came down from their rabid frenzy, clarity washing over their amber eyes. For some reason, they retained their lupine bodies, and rose on two legs, eyeing him quizzically.
“Huh?” Jim shrugged. “Can you understand me?”
Two tried to speak, but could manage only growls and snarls. They contented themselves to simply give a huge, furry nod.
“Do you know what’s happened to you?” They nodded once more.
“I will try to return you to humans, but first I have to stop the mad werewolves. Can you help me?” They exchanged glances before finally nodding in unison.
The air near the werewolves bore a strange scent, one Jim strained to recognize. Jim leaned close, trying to smell the telltale odor of coke from the perfume. It was gone, replaced by the bubble-gum scent of his antidote, leaking from their jaws, nipples, and sexes.
“Interesting,” Jim noted.
