Sharon and Charlotte: The summoning scroll

Charlotte blinked. “The Draconic Council? I thought Nobokai was the last of his kind.”

“On Earth, at least,” Sharon replied. “He was hoping to re-open the realms, eventually.”

The winged human descended, coming to rest casually atop an ajar treasure chest. She crossed her legs and folded her wings. “Maybe we should summon them. They might be able to help.”

The half-dragon woman gave her a skeptical look. “And what if they don’t? We’re not full dragons. Will they listen to us?”

Charlotte smirked. “You’re dragon enough to have found the scroll, and Nobokai thought highly of you. Besides, have you got a better idea?”

Sharon thought to protest, but decided against it. “All right,” she nodded, clearing her throat to read the ancient draconic language. She almost felt a burning near her uvula.

“Nicht gunta hirundo vassa, ento luni clydota!” Every syllable was music to her; her pronunciation and accent were perfect.

“Clodaka und grado thereta, zundana quindo lo vansta, summone Draco Councilia!”

The scroll ripped itself from her talons, fluttering toward the ceiling. It embedded itself into the rock, expanding in a pool of shimmering blue to cover the entire layer of rock. A strong wind inhaled the room, intent on pulling a dragon through…

1. Sharon is pulled through to stand before the Draconic Council.
2. Charlotte is pulled through to stand before the Council.
3. *Both women are transported to the Council.
4. A single Council representative enters the room to speak with them.
5. The entire Council enters the chamber.
