Kehle tried to pull her arm free and lashed out at Serenity with her fist, catching the skunkette across the jaw and sending her reeling back into the hall, where she landed painfully on her tail. Sally regained her own balance and made a lunge for the doorway but there was an explosion of pain in the back of her skull and she blacked out.
Serenity/Cheyenne looked up from the floor to see Sally slump to the ground unconscious. Elias was standing behind her holding a small wrench (metric of course). "Did I kill her?", he asked with some concern.
"I wouldn't worry about that.", said Serenity uncharacteristically with an unmistakeable twange of Cheyenne in her speech. She knelt down by Sally and felt for a pulse...
