Serenity breathed a sigh of relief once the three strange visitors were out of the room. She reached up to her neck and grabbed a tuft of fur. She pulled her transforming mask off to reveal an attractive, red headed woman with a lightly freckled face and pale complexion. She wiped the sweat from her face with the sleeve of the flowing robe she wore. This was Kehle Killian. She was a spy for the Enclave. A millitant human supremescist organization with the goal of purging the world of anthromorphs. She was also a political genius, a master of disguise and a skilled zoologist.
"So they are on the trail of a spy are they?", she asked outloud to herself. How could they have found out that the Enclave was preparing to invade the southern lands where anthromorphs were still a problem so quickly, and how did they track her here? She thought to herself.
What Kehle didn't realize is that she wasn't the spy that the group was refering to. She opened a secret pannel and took a circular hallway to a hidden chapel room that was Serenity's private shrine. Serenity was shackled to the wall and was on the verge of passing out from exhaustion. The poor female skunk had been chained up over three days ago and had not been given any food or been taken down to relieve herself. The room smelled fowl as Serenity had soiled herself. The unfortunate priestess had no other options. At least she was being provided with water. When she saw Kehle enter the room she strained against her shackles and tried to vry out. Kehle had placed a muzzle over her mouth so she couldn't call for help. Serenity cried in frustration.
"It appears you have some allies that are looking for a spy here in your temple.", said Kehle. "For your sake, you filthy animal, I hope I'm not discovered. Otherwise you'll die here." Serenity glared through wet eyes at the human demon who had stoled her congregation and was corrupting the peace she had worked to achieve. She wished fervently that they hadn't numbed her scent glands with that strange chemical. She would have liked to spray Kehle right then and there, but it would have done no good.
"Now Serenity", said Kehle as she reached for Serenity's muzzle and ripped it off her face. "I'm delivering a sermon tonight and I need a subject..."
