Serenity just continued to peer at the three with a vacant stare for a moment trying to collect her thoughts. She had been using some thought provoking medication earlier in the day, and sometimes, they provoked the thoughts right out of her head. Eventually, reality came rushing back to fill her head with the here and now and Serenity regained her composure and apologized. "Oh, I'm sorry I didn't realize these were the traveler's you were telling me about brother DarkCloud. My name is Serenity Azuth and I am the high priestess of this chapter of the Temple of the Divine Contemplation. Would you care to step into my chamber and we can discuss what is troubling the spiritual well being of our community?"
The three went inside and sat down in comfortable chairs in front of Serenities desk while she resumed her seat on the other side. The room smelled of incense. Cinnamon and Lilac with a touch of vanilla. It was cloingly sweet, just on the verge of being unpleasant, but for some reason skunks seemed to prefer these fragrances. Cheyenne was grateful for the odor, it took her mind off her growing hunger pains and her lack of sleep.
