Aluara is back... with someone else...

Unending BE - episode 193044

The warehouse was dark and empty except for the lifeless suits that hung on racks around the interior. The door from the east side swings open and Jim, fully restored to his former self, crept inside. He swept the room with a 9mm Luger held before him. It was an old trophy bestowed upon him by his grandfather. Jim looked around the warehouse and whispered back towards the entrance. "The coast is clear."

An anthromorphic rabbit, a rich tan color, snuck into the warehouse behind Jim. Jim flipped on a light switch when the rabbit closed the door. The windows were boarded up, so Jim wasn't worried about light being visable from the streets, no matter which world those streets were on.

"I can't thank you enough Jim for leading me back here.", said Aluara with genuine gratitude. "I was so very tired of skulking about in the shadows of your strange world. How did you find me."

Jim shrugged "I still don't know myself. The last thing I remember I was disguised as a vixen. The costume had elements of her psyche in it and we were having this bizarre struggle for control of her body. I think I was about to win, but Meiou ensorcelled me. I was cast out of her body and sent back to my world."

As Jim spoke, Aluara wandered amongst the racks of costumes. She marveled at their detail and was astounded by the sheer quantity. "You weren't kidding Jim. I can identify at least four anthros I know."

Jim walked over to where the Sthyth suit still lay on the ground. "Do you know this guy, he seemed to know you."

Aluara krept over and looked down in disgust. "Yes. I know him! That's Sthyth. He was one of the best assassin's the Order of the One had. Why is there a costume of him?"

"There are a lot of costumes of everyone here. Even duplicates. It defies logic. Why are there members of the Order represented, as well as other well known figures and citizens?" Jim had another thought "If this warehouse is known by Mieou, and the Order of the One has knowledge of it's location, do you think Meiou may actually be involved with the Order somehow?"

"Is Meiou really Meiou?", asked Aluara.

"Good question. I know where they are though, I still have some of Raven's memories. Thank heavens they are just memories though. Meiou is at this Inn. There is supposed to be some form of meeting about the order taking place. I think we may have missed it, but my friends are attending in disguise. They may know something now."

Aluara looked over at Jim. "Can you show me where?", she asked.

  1. "I am not going near that place. I'll tell you how to get there though. Good luck!"
  2. "Absolutely, but we need to be disguised..."
  3. "We'll go, but I've got to get a couple of things first..."
  4. "I don't remember, but I think there is a note they left me that I dropped here somewhere..."
  5. "The Inn of Mysterious Magic or some such..."
  6. *something else...
