The phony rabbit family finaly got some claification as to whom they all were while they studied the identity papers that Aluara gave them in the car. Adrixen, was the father of Orchid, the young teen rabbit and husband of Sasha, who didn't appear that much older. She had obviously been blessed with a youthful appearance. Orchid was an accomplished wizard and thief. The wizardly skills she learned on her own, while her father Adrixen taught her everything she new as a thief. Adrixen was also a courtisan and a spy in what was a bizarre form of modern, feudal, medievalism in an alternate version of idependant Texas a few hundred years in the future. Adrixen was the advisor to the Earl of Tyler County.
Sasha was Orchid's mother and was a skilled martial artist. She originally grew up as a member of a wandering circus troup and met Adrixen at a festival. The two fell in love causing a bit of a scandal and Adrixen was banished from court. Later though, his skills proved to valuable to dismiss, so he recieved an invitation to work for the Earl of Tyler County. The rabbits were supposed to meet with other advisors to discuss the growing threat of the Order of the One. A bizarre and violent assassin's cult with dark religious connotations.
When the false rabbit family arrived at the inn, they were greeted by a porter who offered to take their bags. Adrixen politely refused stating that he had some important papers in the suitcases that were never to leave his sight. The porter (a stout boar), politely aqcueiesced and held the door for the fashionably dressed family and Aluara.
In the lobby, a female cat morph greeted them at the check in desk and promptly gave them their keys. Adrixen and Sasha, married couple they were, went to their room. Aluara and Orchid were given a room, Aluara taking the role as a ladies trainer to the teenaged Orchid.
The group had a couple of hours before the meeting and were apparently the first to arrive. Having time to kill they...
