42: When a swarm of Buzzbreast attack you and your pokewomen, which course of action is best?
A: Pick off the lead Buzzbreast and dominate her so that you can then dominate the swarm.
B: Run at full speed away from the swarm until you can find shelter.
C: Climb a tree.
D: Check your pokedex to confirm that these are actually Buzzbreast.
The correct answer, of course, was B. Hitting the lead Buzzbreast meant that the other Buzzbreast would be swarming over you. Climbing a tree was pretty dumb against Flying types. Checking your pokedex would result pretty much the way A had.
So Ash ran. He'd gotten some good practice at this, as bigger kids beating the snot out of him was a regular occurance growing up and avoidance had been one of the few measures of safety.
Two people leapt out of the bushes along one path, posing.
"To protect our jobs with participation!"
"To unite our paychecks with HEY!"
"You can't go running past us while we're doing the motto!" A redhaired woman shouted at the still running Ash.
Shinji Giovanni sighed. "Man, Dad is gonna ream me a new one...?!"
Asuka turned back to find Shinji had just taken off running. "Shinji you dumkopf! Get your heinie back here! Members of Team Rocket must comport themselves with dignity!"
"Tell that to the Buzzbreast!" Shinji yelled back over his shoulder.
Asuka blinked. "...buzzbreast?!..." Slowly she turned and looked up. About fifty Buzzbreast, approaching at a high rate of speed.
Asuka Langley Soryuu was good at math. A quick calculation of X+B= Y are you still here?
"Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" Asuka passed Shinji at high speed.
