Marjorie had been a little surprised by the fact that such a small plane was making a transatlantic flight but this surprise was buried under the weight of the other surprising things which were happening to her. Somehow, Marjorie had found herself strangely compliant in all of the things which were happening to her. For instance, it was only now as she prepared to enter the passenger area that she realized she could have told the pilots that she was not supposed to be on this flight, much less a stewardess on it. She also found herself cursing not grabbing a pay phone while in the airport. But most disturbingly, Marjorie found the thought of herself and Teri double-teaming the captain pushing these more practical worries out of her head.

But once again, before she could truly get her bearings, Teri grabbed her hand and led her into the passenger cabin. Instead of the rows of seats Marjorie had been expecting, she saw instead a room furnished not unlike a wealthy person's sitting room. Occupying the plush furniture was what appeared to be

  1. a rock band.
  2. an famous actor and his/her entourage.
  3. *a corporate board.
  4. a politician and his/her entourage.
  5. something else.
