A rather average looking man walked onto the stage, watching the large crowd go silent. The cacophony of sound that had been there a second ago, ceased abruptly.
He looks back over his shoulder to the others on the stage, nods to Iron Nick and Echso, smiles at the others.
Tentatively, he walks to the podium and takes the microphone.
"Most of you probably don't know me...." he started to say as the crowd looked on.
"But hopefully that can change now," he finished after the crowd quieted a bit.
"The one bit of information I'll open with is an explanation of this odd name of mine. You see, when I first started writing, I thought I'd take over Maw's place as a celebrity writing. As it turns out, I tended to prefer regular, non-celebrity, characters, but unfortunately the name had taken off so too many people knew me as Celebrity_MC. In the past couple years, I've tried to change it to CMC, which at least doesn't mis-advertise what I'm all about," he started.
"And now, if there are any questions you'd like to ask, please do so," he said as he walked from behind the podium to stand in front of the assembled crowd.
