Perhaps not: Adama's turn

Unending BE - episode 136964

"Before I do anything else, I'm getting out of this silly outfit" Adama said. He reached behind his neck and fumbled at something -- and his entire head peeled off! Beneath it was the head of a younger, rather more ordinary-looking guy. He quickly peeled off the rest of the clothes and skin, and handed the pile to the nearest Cylon. Beneath the Skinsuit Adama was wearing a cotton shirt and jeans. "Make sure this gets back to the Skinsuit Warehouse with the rest of them when we're done, okay Pete?"

*BY YOUR COMMAND.*

"Oh give it a rest." With that, Adama pulled out a clipboard stacked with episode listings, and started flipping through the pages. "Hope Sid gets back before too long. Okay, who's left?"

RaoulDuke called out from his cage. "Hey, Adama, you know me -- I don't belong in here. I wouldn't hurt a fly! Come on, lemme out." A mostly sincere grin was plastered across his face. "How am I going to update the Celebrity Index if I'm cooped up in a cage?"

Adama tapped his chin thoughtfully. "Well, I suppose as an associate Indexer you deserve something. Who's got a pen?" A female hand reached out from thin air and put a pen on his clipboard, then vanished. "Thanks." Flipping to the blank sheet on top, he scribbled a few lines.

A portal suddenly opened in the floor of RaoulDuke's cage, and he dropped out of sight with a yelp.

"Now let's see..." Looking at three-dimensional anime/manga characters was giving him a headache, so he took care of them next. Annapuma, Unapuma, and Leona Ozaki were sent back to their near-future world -- they'd barely even been mentioned before in the Addventure, after all. Pris followed, then A-ko and B-ko (who didn't stop glaring at each other even as they fell into their portals).

After that, Adama sent the Doctor back to Bee and Dee (or whatever they were calling themselves now). Without Adama noticing, Dr. Brown somehow managed to hitch a ride, and the two time-travelers left together.

"Let's see now... that leaves Dr. Wu and cronies, Daniel Cave, a whole pack of Authors... plus anyone else I've temporarily forgotten. I think Wu and friends deserve a little further examination. Now about all you trespassing Authors..." For the first time, Adama was a little apprehensive. Dealing with fictional characters was one thing, but Authors were practically demigods in the Addventure.

"Come on Sid, escape and get back here. I'd even take Deja Voodoo in person."

  1. *Sid makes a miraculous return, with or without his wives.
  2. *Deja Voodoo shows up to help.
  3. Nobody arrives, so Adama tries to take care of the Authors himself.
  4. *One or more of the Authors get out of their cages, and havoc ensues.
  5. Something even stranger happens.
